Client meeting
I met with Johanna Butler yesterday and her reaction to the designs was very good. She really liked the white box and the A5 course information booklet. She really liked my designs and happy with the final outcome. she have also asked me if they can upload the ring making process on the website.
Conclusion & Summary of the Project
The stage of concluding my Final Major Project, I must say i have came a cross with many issues and i believe it was a very useful experience for me. There were challenges, but I think I have tried to stand against other handmade jewellery companies in this growing sub-section of the contemporary handmade jewellery field. By having connection with the live client regularly bases and meetings have giving me to taste the real life experience.
I have started looking at different forms of jewellery making techniques, particularly in the area of silver, as I am very keen to explore the areas of silver jewellery. I now have printed Catalog, Booklet, a documentation of ring making process and designed business cards in a beautiful white box. The initial identity needs to be produced, followed by the catalogue and the A5 sized course information of the company. The large volume of work required to promote this contemporary jewellery with curtain style and allow it to grow in its own potential. I have learned how complex to make handmade jewelleries and my documentation shows clear steps of the workshop production.
Me and my client are both happy in this stage and being a Graphic Designer is always responsible for sourcing the right material and organising. I have taken the responsibility for producing the cover illustrations and content in a suitable form of print work. I have ensured the format of the design work. I have created something glamorous with a limited budget and produced a piece of documentary for ring making process which is done using the workshop. By doing hands on experience have lifted my confidence up and in the coming future, it will build a lot more.
